Linux truly is for the People

Epic. I’m presuming this is for Red Flag Linux, although I cannot find a matching image to the flag at the end of the video.

When we are at FUDCon we must shoot a video like that for Fedora, but instead parody an epic Fantastic Four scene. Who gets to play Galactus?

Yes, it’s Redflag’s Chinese 2000 Linux. But I am not sure why the video used $ instead of RMB or Y (Yuan).

Oh, I was watching the video without the music. They sang it in Cantonese. So I guess the ad could be from Guangzhou or Hong Kong.

I have a Galactus heroclix we could use, if all else fails (he’s several times bigger than the normal heroclix figures):

You know, for the longest time I considered those under the Asianux bannder as something of a bit keeper (A linux distro that doesn’t condribute to the community in a visible manner, just keeps using the bits that everyone else builds). I would wonder what would happen if Fedora, as a community, would try to get developers of Asianux to contribute more to the upstream… I would be interesting.
